Christmas fun with a Heritage Twist

Over 130 people attended our Christmas Conversation and Craft Session on Wednesday 8th December 2025.

People from across our community joined us for an afternoon of fun craft activities with cakes, sandwiches and refreshments. It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together, enjoying themselves, and for many enjoying the beautifully restored church for the first time!

Beautiful cards of the Christ Church Angels. The Angel templates were hand drawn by Alex Kay.

Embroidered stars were made, inspired by the stars on the walls

People of all ages had a go and got creative!

There were lots of Christmas crafts to choose from!

A young person even had a go at trying out his photography skills with our project camera!

We are so grateful to our funders The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust, Pilgrim Trust, ChurchCare and community donors who together have made all of this possible. Thank you!
